Cedar Lake is a lake in western Manitoba, Canada, located west of Lake Winnipeg, near the border of Saskatchewan. It is 40 miles (64 km) long and 32 miles (51 km) broad at its widest point. Its area is 285 square miles (738 sq km).
The Saskatchewan River enters the lake on the west side and leaves it on the east to pour over the Grand Rapids into Lake Winnipeg. The lake is named for a dense stand of cedar on its shores. The surrounding country is forested with balsam, spruce, birch, poplar, tamarack and pine.
